The new Independence Faces are now available for the Lopi
DVS and DVL gas inserts. All Independence faces offer double
screened doors that open to reveal a full view of the fire. The
hammered edges of the rectilinear frame and the charcoal tone paint
finish suggest hand wrought metal craftsmanship. The coarse woven
wire screen has that substantial look and feel that promises
durability. The raised tenons at the intersections of the horizontal
and vertical bars are details one would expect to find only in
heirloom pieces.

Lopi Bostonian SS GreenSmart Gas Fireplace
The Bostonian™ SS (Space Saver) GreenSmart is Lopi's newest gas
fireplace. With the combination of convective heat, radiant heat and
reduced depth dimension the unit is ideal for zone heating in
bedrooms, dens and intimate spaces. The fireplace features 564
square inches of high quality, high clarity, tempered glass with a
removable safety screen.
The realistic "wood like" flame, along with the heat output can be
controlled by the convenient GreenSmart gas valve. The GreenSmart
feature allows you to turn off part of the burner with the push of
the button to really turn down the heat while maintaining the fire
and glowing embers. This allows you to comfortably be able to use
your fireplace year around. And now the Bostonian SS GreenSmart

The Bostonian SS GS features an Intermittent Pilot Ignition (IPI),
which allows you to run your fireplace in either standing pilot
mode - where the pilot flame stays on which is ideal in really cold
climates where it is important to maintain a draft for proper
operation, or in the electronic ignition mode (IPI), where your
pilot flame goes out when you turn off your fireplace saving you
precious fuel and money. This makes the Bostonian SS GS the
most "Green" fireplace you can own.
The Bostonian SS GS gas fireplace allows you the option of adding
the revolutionary "GreenSmart" modulating remote control.
This "ultimate" hands free control gives you the ability to control
virtually every function of the fireplace from the comfort of your
couch. You control the flame and heat output manually, run the
fireplace on thermostat mode or set your fireplace to the"Smart"
mode. The "Smart" mode automatically modulates the fire and heat
up and down to maintain the beauty of the fire and room

2009 Tax Credit Information - Important Details
Signed into law on October 3, 2008, a $1,500 consumer tax credit for
the purchase of a 75% efficient biomass stove in 2009 was included
in the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. The Hearth,
Patio & Barbecue Association (HPBA) and the Pellet Fuels Institute
(PFI), succeeded in including the tax credit to help consumers fight
rising home heating costs.

New Metro Mantel™
For Lopi Bostonian E Electric Fireplace
As an alternative to wood cabinet mantels, the new Metro Mantel is
constructed of brushed nickel sheet metal with a textured black
powder-coated hearth base. As you can see in the photo below, the
Metro Mantel is a striking contemporary accessory. The fireplace is
shown here with the Wilmington™ Brushed Nickel Face.
Overall,the Bostonian E Metro Mantel measures 36-3/4" tall and is 50-
1/8" wide by 18-3/8" deep at the base. The fireplace easily slides
into the mantel and is firmly held to the base with a bracket across
the back. As you know, our 564 E Electric Fireplace features a
Purifire™ air filter to continuously clean the air in the room even
when the fireplace heater and flame display is not operating. Access
to this filter is greatly simplified with the Metro Mantel. The
mantel top lifts right off for easy service!

The Bostonian™ SS - Space Saver Gas Fireplace
The Bostonian SS (Space Saver) is Lopi's newest gas fireplace.
With its consistent, radiant and convective heat and reduced
dimensions the unit is ideal for zone heating in bedrooms, dens
and intimate spaces that do not require a great deal of heat.
Although the actual measurements of the Bostonian SS are reduced
in size, the fireplace features a large fireviewing viewing area
of 564 square inches of high quality, high clarity, tempered glass.
The realistic flame of the fire, along with the heat output has the
ability to be modulated by the convenience of the Comfort Control
gas valve. This component allows you the ability to turn the burner
from high to low, while maintaining the fire and glowing embers of
the burner. This gives the fireplace the ability to be utilized and
enjoyed year round, preventing overheating in zones and always
assuring comfort.
One can choose from something as simple as the basic grill to
three different face options in various textures and rich colors.
A reversible Ceramic Fireback option is available for complete

Berkshire™ Cast Iron Gas Stove
All new for 2007!
The 2007 Berkshire cast iron gas stove has been re-engineered to
provide more value than the 2006 model.
The 2007 Berkshire is available in New Iron Paint Finish or Oxford
Brown Enamel. Double doors are now standard and can be opened or
removed depending on the taste of the home owner. The optional cast
trivet is not cast into the top of the stove.
All new logs have been added to the 2007 Berkshire along with the
option of adding a 160 CFM fan, cast ceramic brick fireback, an
accent light for adding warmth to the interior of the firebox (even
when the fire is off), a stone top and side kit and an aromatherapy
tray.
Taupe enamel colored Berkshires will be discontinued this year and
do not have the features found in the New Iron or Oxford Brown
enamel models.
